BOOKING POLICY

Booking Policy

These practical terms help keep lessons safe, fair and predictable. A booking is confirmed only when Lynn has accepted the requested time and service.

Payment

Lessons are generally pay as you go, with payment due after each lesson unless a different arrangement is confirmed in writing. Test-day or special bookings may require advance payment when stated before confirmation.

Changes and cancellation

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or change a booking. A cancellation made within 24 hours, or a no-show, may be charged up to the full booked fee because that time was reserved for you.

Genuine emergencies will be considered reasonably and case by case.

Lateness

Please arrive ready at the agreed time. A late start will normally still finish at the scheduled end time and may be charged as booked. If Lynn is delayed, reasonable time will be added or another fair arrangement offered.

Safety and conduct

You must be legally entitled and fit to drive, follow licence conditions and safety instructions, and not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Threatening, abusive or unsafe behaviour may result in the lesson being stopped. Safety decisions remain with the instructor.

Using your own vehicle

Your vehicle must be registered, have a current WoF where required, be roadworthy, have enough fuel or charge, and be appropriately insured for the intended use. Lynn may decline to use a vehicle that is unsuitable or unsafe.

Test-day support and language assistance

Test-day support is subject to NZTA rules and the testing officer's approval. A support person must provide requested details and must not speak, prompt, help or distract anyone during the practical test. The testing officer may refuse a support person, and no test result is guaranteed.

Instructor changes and consumer rights

If Zebra cannot provide a confirmed service, we will offer a reasonable reschedule or refund any payment for the unprovided service. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other New Zealand law.
